The despatches were pronounced in Bellampalli, Rudrapur, Mandamarri, GDK among other mines of the collieries.

Referring to the 1,200 MW thermal power plant of the SCCL, which was commissioned during 2016, the CMD said that the power plant had thus far contributed about 1,980 million units and of this, 1,821 mu was supplied to the State. While the Unit One of 600 MW generated about 1,443 mu, unit two contributed 537 mu. Unit I and unit II were declared commercially operational during September 25 and December 2.
